Privacy policy
GoodBeerFinder is a website and a phone app (Android and iPhone) run by City King Ltd. We don't have accounts, we don't use analytics or tracking, and we don't sell or share anything about you.
Your location
The app asks for your location only when you tap Near me. It is used on your phone to sort venues by distance and centre the map. It is never sent to us or anyone else.
Saved on your phone
Your favourite venues and a copy of the venue list are stored only on your phone. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
Services the app and site connect to
The app downloads the venue list from goodbeerfinder.com and map tiles from OpenStreetMap. The website loads fonts from Google Fonts. Like any web server, these receive your IP address and keep standard technical logs. Directions open in your maps app, and website links open in your browser.
Ad
Sometimes we show a small, labelled ad for a Pilsner Urquell tasting. It is a plain link: nothing is tracked until you tap it, and the booking site then handles your visit under its own privacy policy.
Age
GoodBeerFinder is about beer and is meant for adults of legal drinking age (18+).
